Ductless Heat Pump & Air Conditioner Services

Here at Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning we offer a full range of services on ductless heat pumps and air conditioners, including new installation and replacement, as well as maintenance and repair. Otherwise known as “mini-splits”, ductless A/Cs and heat pumps are proving to be a popular alternative to your traditional central HVAC systems. Sometimes a home doesn’t have a central heating system, and installing one is too invasive and costly, so a ductless is often a good substitute. There are even times when a home does have a central system, but a ductless system is preferable or a good supplement, such as to provide superior cooling to the upstairs of a residence or as an alternative to a central A/C when one of these won’t fit within the available space. Whatever the best solution for your home, we at Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning are happy to discuss the options and cost to help you decide what’s best for you. Once the system is installed, we’ll be here to provide you the long term service you’ll need over the life of the unit.

Offering Services for Mitsubishi, Bryant/Carrier, and Others

We at Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning service some of the highest quality and most popular ductless systems available. Mitsubishi, Bryant/Carrier, Trane/American Standard, Lennox – we are able to help you with most brands available.

If you’re in the market for a new ductless system, Mitsubishi is the leader here in the Northwest, offering remarkably good heating and cooling systems. There may be no more reliable manufacturer available. Bryant/Carrier ductless systems are increasingly popular given their name recognition and also make great systems. Trane/American Standard ductless systems are simply Mitsubishi systems rebranded. There are many manufacturers though, from Daikin, to Fujitsu, Sanyo, LG, etc. Mitsubishi is the leader in this region.

Quiet & Efficient

One of the nice features of a ductless heat pump or air conditioner is that the outdoor units are generally whisper quiet. For most ductless systems, you won’t have any complaints from members of your household or your neighbors about the excessive racket the system is making. Ranging from decibel ratings as low as the high 40s to the low 60s, ductless systems are on average significantly quieter than the traditional central A/C or heat pump.

Ductless systems also tend to be quite efficient to operate. From SEER ratings into the 20s and HSPFs into the 13s, these are some of the most operating cost friendly systems available.
